Release-Highlights 01/23: News on Plan BETA, Export content to PowerPoint, Enhancement of to-do filters & sub-tasks in to-do checklists

This is our monthly update that highlights recent product improvements we’ve made so you can easily stay up to date on what’s new. All of this should improve your MARMIND experience as much as possible and help you stay on top of your marketing processes.

PLAN BETA: Enhancement of the To-Do filters

In Plan Beta, the following filter criteria are now supported:

  • “Relevant to” including the predefined value “Me”
  • “Mentioned” including the predefined value “Me”
  • “Creator” including the predefined value “Me”
  • “Responsible” including the predefined value “My To-Dos”
  • “Delegated” including the predefined values “Delegated by me” & “Delegated to me”
  • “Status” including the predefined values “Not done”, “Done today” & “Done last 7 days”
  • “Priority”
  • “Due Date”
  • Belongs to”

MEDIA ASSETS: New version comparison

The new version comparison displays versions side by side. Especially with multi-page documents it supports effectively the comparison of different pages with each other.

The additional function “Synchronous scrolling” can be found via the lock icon. It is activated by default, so that both versions are turned with a click on “next page”.

If you deactivate the function, you have the possibility to scroll differently or to set a so-called “offset”. This option is necessary if the number of pages in the versions has changed due to the removal of a complete page.

Furthermore, it is possible to select which version should be displayed on which page (left / right) in order to meet personal handling preferences.

MEDIA ASSETS: Export MARMIND content to PowerPoint files [FREE TRIAL period].

Currently, as a test feature, you can find the option “Export content with template” in the 3-point menu for the marketing objects in the tree, as well as under the “Details” heading in the next steps menu:

With this new function you can export content of MARMIND standard fields and of user-defined fields of this marketing object into a MS PowerPoint file (*.pptx) prepared for this purpose.

You define in advance in the PowerPoint file which field content should be written to which place / position in the PowerPoint file by means of Mindscript expressions in the generic MS PowerPoint comment function.

An example to write for instance the name of the marketing object into a PowerPoint text field would be: “%= Name”; or see also here as follows:

TO DOS: Sub tasks in to-do checklists

The to-do checklist has now been extended in the settings so that sub-tasks can be predefined in the pop-up of each individual to-do.

These are automatically created when a to-do checklist is used.

TO DOS: Listen view > Moving elements within the same group

For the following grouping options it is now possible to move elements within the group to any row position without changing the dates:

  • Status
  • Category
  • Responsible
  • Priority
  • Scenario / Tags

TO DOS: Optimization of the grouping option start date and due date

If the to-do list (or board) is grouped by start date, the behavior has been optimized as follows: When moving individual to-dos, the start date is changed in this grouping, rather than the due date.

In the grouping by due date, the existing behavior remains, so when moving, the due date is changed.
